View Full Version : Tight Hams after Squats

I just finished my workout, and i ended it with squats. After the second set of 4s, my quads started to tighten right up, so my i could barly walk up stairs. I havn't done squats in a long time, since like b4 the season, and i didn't have time to stretch before i started. I'm just wondering what cause this to happen? Any help/advice would be muchly appreciated.

it'll go away with a couple workouts, i've had that before.

my legs did that the first time i squatted after the season. After the first workout thought it never happened again. You just gotta get used to doing them again.

Likely it was just the pump in your quads -- not lack of stretching.
If it went away within an hour or so after the workout, that is what it was.
