Default (For anyone that can help.......
i have football tryouts for a regional team. i have about 6 weeks to get ready for it. I am 5'4 and 130 lbs. They asked me to tryout as a DB/WR. The weight limit is 155 lbs. so i am small to begin with. i would like to add AT LEAST 5 more lbs of muscle.more if possible.i would also like to improve apon my lateral quickness and my acceleration. IF ANYONE has any suggestions or routines i can follow it would be much appreciated. By the way if JHAWK reads this i would really like your help you seem like a guy who knows what i should be doing in this situation. thanks for the help guys)

i had postedd this message in the beginning of the school year and i wanted to thank ppl for their help. i made this team and started at corner, and ended up with 3 ints (1 TD) and a bunch of tackles in 3 games ( we had 4 but i missed one). i went from 130 lbs to 134 now, and i also had a successful school season. however....

i am now forced to make a descion now that the offseason is upon us. my age permits me to play 1 more year on the team, in which the coach has already talked to me and told me i would be a large part of the team and a captain since i was a returning player. but the weight limit is 155. i am going to be a sophmore, and i have a good chance at starting on varsity b/c the corners on the team rnt that good, and i had a real good season last year. i could also see time at rb since we have 2 senior rb's and 2 sophmore (1 is me). but i need to gain alot of weight in order to do this. and im planning to start my recruiting adventure during and after sophmore year so i think i need to have a good season. so i dont kno if i should just gain as much as a i can and then come time for regional tryouts see where im at, or be careful and try at all costs not to go over 155. please help me on what i should do
thanks again
