Steamroller's cheating in the Fantasy Football league...

I investigated and found this.

This was WR's week 14 lineup -

B. Favre

WR H. Ward
(Pit - WR)
WR L. Coles
(NYJ - WR)
RB R. Droughns

(Sea - RB)
RB D. Davis
(Hou - RB)

Most people carryover their lineup to week 15 but WR's changes to this...

QB B. Favre

(Chi - RB)
RB A. Green <- out w/ injury

In addition his Kicker & Defensive roster spots were both changed to empty.

Steamroller has admitted to emailing the league Commish and having him change WR's roster. Does anyone not see this as cheating? I know it cost Backa53 his spot in the playoffs.

Does anyone object to removing him from the league?

If that happens, the Week 15 point breakdown goes like this.

Live4this - 127.5
Me - 118.1
Backa53 - 97.3
FootballStar - 89.9

So that means Live4this and I would play for the Championship (we would just go head to head based on points) while FBS & Backa play for 3rd place (or call it a tie for them).

I'd like to hear the thoughts from people in the league (Live4this, FBS, Backa, WR, etc.)

probably... 1 of my friends in this league i am in with cheated, he used 2 teams and still couldnt get a playoff spot.... so he protested the commish by releasing all of his players on both teams.

Athletes.com sponsors a fantasy football league and offers prizes to the top 3 finishers, steamroller starts the league and acts as the commissioner, season winds down and steamroller and Backa53 are tied for a playoff spot heading into the last week, Backa53 wins his game, Steamroller loses his game to WR4Life (who was not very active in the league), Steamroller protests the game, he then emails the Yahoo! commish and convinces him to change WR4Life's roster, Steamroller then gets Backa53's playoff spot because of the score change, thus costing Backa53 a chance to win one of the prizes, Backa53 calls him out on the league message board, Steamroller admits to emailing the commish and having WR's roster changed..... bada bing bada bang here we are

That is the biggest scandal I have ever heard of in fantasy sports (me being in football, baseball, and basketball fantasy leagues, ive been around)! Anyway you look at it though, its just fantasy football, not like real NFL or even high school football, so wanting a freakin score change like that is so crybaby. Backa53 should get the spot. JHawk, let me know how this turns out.

Even though WR4life had not been an active member, when the playoff spot was riding on a win by him, I contacted him and asked if he could please set a good lineup. He complied and set a lineup that won the game. (I'm pretty sure he put in Matt Hasselback, who threw for four TDs the following sunday)

I myself, heading into that week was not active either (I had McNabb in forever after his injury and I had Tomlinson and Gates on my bench ever since their midseason bye)

But I think I would have at least gotten third place, because my team was of great quality and I started 7-1 before sortof forgetting about it and leaving my main offensive weapons on the bench.

So I think I defenitly deserve at the third place prize.

havnt posted in a while here bit i still read, but i did change my lineup th elast week because i would have made playoffs if i outscored backa53 by 50 and won. i didnt check once i saw i didnt win by 50 but this news is a shock to me. i tthink he should be kicked out for sure

This is bull. The reason I protested was that steve smiths points were added on to his number 1 recivers points. Thats why I protested it. It was a stat correction. I would have won the game with the original lineup. Steve only got 3 points and he had 2 td's like 10 catches for a 100 + yards
